Sunless Tanning FAQs
At LeTan LeBronze, we use only premium Norvell professional products and techniques, but there are some things that you can do before and after your Custom Airbrush Spray tan appointment to help ensure you achieve the best results - a long lasting, "just-off-the-beach" tan!
24-hours before your Custom Airbrush Spray appointment:
Shave or use depilatory cream to remove unwanted body hair. Exfoliate entire skin.
8-hours before your Custom Airbrush Spray appointment:
Shower, but do not apply body oil or moisturizers to skin (unless you have dry skin) as this can create a barrier on your skin.
Minutes prior to your Custom Airbrush Spray:
Remove makeup and deodorant with baby wipes.
Do not wear tight fitting jeans, pants or shorts or synthetic clothing. NO SPORTS BRAS! Wear loose-fitting flip flops and loose clothing after your Custom Airbrush Spray.
1 to 24 hours after your Custom Airbrush Spray:
Venetian Plus solution requires you to avoid showering and any activity that would cause sweating, exercise, cleaning, etc., as your spray tan is developing during these hours. Contact with water or sweat could result in lines or uneven tanning. If you choose to sleep in your spray tan so that it darkens overnight, you may want to cover your bed with dark sheets and pillowcases so that any bronzer does not stain your regular sheets.
First shower after your Custom Airbrush Spray:
Your first shower after your Custom Airbrush Spray tan should be just gentle rinse and you will see some color wash away from your skin. This is completely normal and will only be the "cosmetic" bronzer (instant color that you see). Avoid scrubbing your skin or using anything abrasive. Use a mild soap or body wash. When drying, remember to pat your skin gently dry and at night, to extend the life of your Custom Airbrush Spray tan, apply Norvell Moisturizer Tan Extender.
The life of your Custom Airbrush Spray tan depends upon the care your skin. Moisturize twice a day.
